All political prisoners and the detainees of the recent protests must be immediately released.
1-Since Thursday December 28 the Iranian people have engaged in extensive protests against the government of religious despotism in Iran. These protests have continued in full force in tens of Iranian cities, from north to south and from east to west of the country. The protests started with slogans against poverty, rising prices and unemployment, and now it has become the slogans of the overthrow of the Islamic Republic. Today, the Iranian workers and people need the most global support. more than two thousnads have been arrested in these two weeks mass demnostration in Iran .All political prisoners
and the detainees of the recent protests must be immediately released.
2- On January 7, 2018, Esmail Abdi members of the executive board of Teachers Association of Tehran was discharged from prison. He was arrested to serve 6 years jail on November 9, 2016. He must be released immediately
Mahmoud Beheshti another member of the board of directors of the teacher’s Association with 14 years sentence has been arrested on September12, 2017, Mohsen Omrani a teacher in city of Bushehr has been arrested May 3, 2017 to serve 1 year prison and Mokhtar Asadi, a member of the Kurdistan Teachers’ Association was arrested on September 18, 2017 to serve 1 year prison.
3- Reza Shahabi a member of the executive board of the Union of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs is Still in in prison, despite being expected to be released on January 8th 2018. .Reza Shahabi’s situation is worrying.
Reza has spent many years in jail for his charges of security allegations under the title “Disrupting National Security and Order. Meanwhile, Reza Shahabi had completed his 5-year sentence on September 16, 2015.
4- Atena Daemi (the children’s right activist) was arrested in November 26, 2016 to serve 7 years jail.
5-Davoud Razavi and Ebrahim Madadi two another members of the executive board of the Union of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs have sentence to 5 years jail.
-Judicial authorities have issued an order to enforce Jafar Azimzadeh, chair of the board of directors of the Free Trade Union of Workers of Iran to be returned to the prison by threatening to confiscate what is called bail on his release.
The freedom of Esmael Abdi , Reza Shahabi , Mahmoud Beheshti, Mohsen Omrani, Mokhtar Asadi, Atena Daemi Behnam and all the chargers for them and for all worker’s activists, teachers, and political prisoner with the charge of “threat to security”, must be cancelled and put an end to threats of persecution.
All political prisoners and the detainees of the recent protests must be immediately released.
