The Islamic regime of Iran must be expelled from ILO and boycotted worldwide June 2022

As the spokesperson of the Free Them Now I am writing this letter to you to express the desire and demand of the people of Iran, that the Islamic regime must be expelled from ILO and be boycotted globally.
Undoubtedly, you are aware of the repressive and even criminal policies of the Islamic regime towards the workers and the people of Iran, and our organization and the workers in Iran have sent you many reports in this regard. But unfortunately, appeasement with this criminal regime has continued by ILO. Aren’t these cases enough to expel such a regime from the international institutions including ILO? The many catastrophic crimes such as execution of children, firing rockets on the Ukrainian passenger plane and killing 177 people on board, the abandonment of Afghan refugees in the deserts, mass executions in prisons and the daily repression of workers, teachers, women and youth for defending their basic rights, all have been many times reported by our organisation to you already. I don’t think it’s necessary to repeat those cases again here. I would like to draw your attention here to the most recent violations of the rights of workers and the people of Iran by the Islamic regime and the crimes of this regime.
The latest case that I have to mention is the tragedy of collapse of Abadan Metropole building that is feared to have killed as many as 200 people, mostly contract workers, on May 22 this year, in the city of Abadan. This building was under construction and on the responsibility of a contractor named Hossein Abdolbaqi, one of the relatives of the head of the Islamic parliament Qalibaf. Lack of solid infrastructure was evident and several warnings were given by the workers to the owner and the local authorities. But the owner of the building and the authorities did not listen and didn’t do anything to stop tragedy. More than Eighty per cent of the victims of this humanitarian catastrophe were workers who worked there on a contract basis, deprived of any insurance and any rights. Among these workers were several Afghan workers who, because they were not allowed to live in the city, lived with their families at the same place and all vanished under the ruins. You know very well that such cases are not the only ones, and are happening many times in Iran. .
The point is that, in the Abadan tragedy, instead of helping to rescue those under the rubble and helping the survivors of the victims, the first thing the government did was to send armed security forces to the city to suppress the protests and has arrested many people.
Another example of government repression is the escalation of security pressures on teachers. You must be aware of the widespread protests of teachers in Iran. Their protest is against the poor living conditions, high prices and deprivation of children from free education, and the rising numbers of the working children.
Ismail Abdi, the former secretary of the Teachers’ Union, has been in jail for six years now. He is sentenced to 16 years prison. For what “crime”? Just for defending the teachers rights and protesting against these same conditions. Many teachers have been arrested since International Labor Day, seventeen of whom are still in custody. With these arrests, the Islamic regime is openly violating the ILO conventions that it has signed, and you have remained silent and accepted the representatives of this government in the ILO!
The government has even opened an espionage case against four teachers and several workers and social activists, for meeting with two French citizens, and has put them on trial and is planning to condemn them to heavy jail sentences. And you are silent and welcome the same government in ILO!
And finally, I should mention the death and murder of prisoners in prisons due to their deprivation of medicines and treatment. The latest well-known example is the murder of Baktash Abtin, a popular freedom-loving and famous Iranian writer that government did not allow him access to medicine and treatment and only when he was dying, he was allowed to be sent to hospital and get treatment. He unfortunately died soon after he was sent to hospital.
The crimes of this regime are numerous. We can provide you how much evidence you want about the anti-workers and anti-human records of this regime.
question to you is how the representatives of such a regime are present at your meeting?
The records of the Islamic regime, this sexual apartheid regime are clearly crimes against humanity.
And these are just a few among the millions of crimes that this regime has done.
Our main question is why is ILO silent in the face of such dimensions of crimes and savagery? Appeasement of such a murderous regime will definitely increase its repression and crimes. People of Iran demand an answer from you. This indifference and these appeasements are condemned and unforgivable by the people.
The current president of the regime (Ebrahim Raisi) is one of three government executioners who were directly involved in the killing of thousands of political prisoners in the 1980s.
This barbaric regime should be boycotted worldwide like the racial apartheid regime of South Africa, and its leaders should be tried. The expulsion of the representatives of this government from the International Labor Organization ILO is the first step in this direction, and this is what is expected from ILO.
As spokesperson of Free Them Now, I am writing this letter to you and the ILO and I expect it to be presented to the general assembly of your conference among other documents.

به عنوان سخنگوی کمپین برای آزادی کارگران زندانی (FTN) این نامه را برای شما می نویسم تا آرزو و خواست مردم ایران ایران مبنی بر اخراج رژیم اسلامی از سازمان جهانی کار و تحریم جهانی آنرا اعلام کنم.
بی شک شما از سیاست های سرکوبگرانه و حتی جنایتکارانه رژیم اسلامی در قبال کارگران و مردم ایران آگاه هستید. سازمان ما و کارگران ایران در این زمینه گزارش ها و نامه های زیادی برای شما ارسال کرده اند. اما متاسفانه مماشات با این رژیم جنایتکار توسط آی ال او ادامه یافته است. آیا مواردی از نقض حقوق کارگران و مردم که در این نامه ها اشاره شده برای اخراج چنین رژیمی از نهادهای بین المللی از جمله سازمان جهانی کار کافی نیست؟
جنایات فاجعه بار بسیاری مانند اعدام کودکان، شلیک راکت به هواپیمای مسافربری اوکراینی و کشته شدن ۱۷۷ سرنشین هواپیما، رهاکردن پناهجویان افغان در بیابان ها، اعدام های دسته جمعی در زندان ها و سرکوب روزانه کارگران، معلمان، زنان و جوانان در دفاع از حقوق اولیه خود، همگی بارها توسط سازمان ما به شما گزارش شده است. فکر نمیکنم نیازی به تکرار مجدد آن موارد در اینجا باشد. در اینجا توجه شما را به چند مورد از تازه ترین موارد نقض حقوق کارگران و مردم ایران توسط رژیم اسلامی و جنایات این رژیم جلب می کنم.
تازه ترین موردی که باید به آن اشاره کنم فاجعه فروریزی ساختمان متروپل آبادان در ۲۲ اردیبهشت ماه است که بیم آن می رود حدود ۲۰۰ نفر که اکثرا کارگران قراردادی هستند، در آن قربانی شده باشند. این ساختمان هنوز در حالت نیمه تمام بود و کارگران در آن کار میکردند و یک پیمانکار بنام حسین عبدالباقی از نزدیکان قالیباف رئیس مجلس شورای اسلامی صاحب آن بود. فقدان زیرساخت های مستحکم از ابتدا در آن مشهود بود و اخطارهای متعددی از سوی کارگران به مالک و مقامات محلی داده شده بود. اما صاحب ساختمان و مسئولین گوش نکردند و اقدامی برای جلوگیری از وقوع یک فاجعه انجام ندادند. بیش از ۸۰ درصد قربانیان این فاجعه انسانی کارگرانی بودند که به صورت قراردادی در آنجا کار می کردند و از هر گونه بیمه و هر گونه حقوقی محروم بودند. در میان این کارگران چندین کارگر افغان نیز بودند که چون اجازه و امکان زندگی در شهر را نداشتند با خانواده خود در همان محل زندگی می کردند و همه زیر ویرانه ها نابود شدند. شما خوب می دانید که چنین مواردی در ایران منحصر بفرد نیست و بارها اتفاق افتاده است که یک نمونه دیگر آن آتش سوزی در پلاسکوی تهران در سال ۲۰۱۷ بود که در آن نیز صدها نفر قربانی شدند.
نکته قابل توجه اینست که در فاجعه آبادان حکومت به جای کمک به نجات افراد زیر آوار مانده و حمایت از بازماندگان قربانیان، اولین کاری که انجام داد اعزام نیروهای سرکوب مسلح به شهر برای سرکوب اعتراضات بود. و بسیاری را دستگیر کردند و به زندان انداختند.
یکی دیگر از مصادیق سرکوب حکومت، تشدید فشارهای امنیتی بر معلمان است. حتما از اعتراضات گسترده معلمان در ایران مطلع هستید. اعتراض آنها به وضعیت بد معیشتی، گرانی و محرومیت کودکان از تحصیل رایگان و افزایش تعداد کودکان کار است.
اسماعیل عبدی، دبیر سابق کانون صنفی معلمان، شش سال است که در زندان به سر می برد. او به ۱۶ سال زندان محکوم شده است. به کدام “جرم”؟ فقط بخاطر دفاع از حقوق معلمان و اعتراض به همین شرایطی که اشاره شد. معلمان زیادی در روز جهانی کارگر دستگیر شده اند که هفده نفر از آنها همچنان در زندان بسر می برند. رژیم اسلامی با این دستگیری ها آشکارا کنوانسیون های سازمان بین المللی کار را که آنها را امضا کرده است زیر پا می گذارد و شما سکوت کرده اید و نمایندگان این دولت را در سازمان بین المللی کار پذیرفته اید!
حکومت اسلامی حتی علیه چهار معلم و چند کارگر و فعال اجتماعی به دلیل ملاقات با دو شهروند فرانسوی به نامهای سیسیل کولر” و همسر وی “ژاک پاری”پرونده جاسوسی تشکیل داده و آنها را میخواهد به محاکمه بکشد و آشکارا قصد دارد آنها را به مجازات های سنگین زندان محکوم کند. و شما سکوت کرده اید و از همین دولت در سازمان بین المللی کار استقبال می کنید!
و در آخر باید به مرگ و قتل زندانیان در زندان ها به دلیل محرومیت از دارو و درمان اشاره کنم. آخرین نمونه شناخته شده آن، قتل بکتاش آبتین، نویسنده محبوب آزادیخواه و شناخته شده ایرانی است که حکومت به او اجازه دسترسی به دارو و درمان را نداد و تنها در آستانه مرگ به او اجازه داده شد که به بیمارستان منتقل شود و تحت درمان قرار گیرد. وی متأسفانه بلافاصله پس از انتقال به بیمارستان درگذشت.
جنایات این رژیم بسیار است. در مورد سوابق ضد کارگری و ضد انسانی این رژیم هر چقدر مدرک می خواهید میتوانیم به شما ارائه کنیم.
سوال از شما این است که نمایندگان چنین رژیمی چگونه در جلسه شما حضور دارند؟ جنایات رژیم اسلامی، این رژیم آپارتاید جنسی آشکارا جنایت علیه بشریت است. و اینها که اشاره شد تنها موارد معدودی از میلیون ها شمار نا محدودی از جنایاتی است که این رژیم انجام داده است.
سوال اصلی ما این است که چرا آی ال او سازمان جهانی کار در برابر چنین ابعادی از جنایات و وحشی گریها سکوت کرده است؟ مماشات با چنین رژیم آدمکشی قطعاً سرکوب و جنایات آن را افزایش خواهد داد. مردم ایران از شما پاسخ می خواهند. این بی تفاوتی ها و این مماشات ها برای مردم ایران انزجار آور و غیرقابل بخشش است. رئیس جمهور کنونی حکومت اسلامی (ابراهیم رئیسی) یکی از سه جلاد حکومت است که مستقیماً در کشتار هزاران زندانی سیاسی در دهه شصت نقش داشته است.
این رژیم وحشی و آدمکش باید مانند رژیم آپارتاید نژادی آفریقای جنوبی در سراسر جهان تحریم شود و رهبران آن محاکمه شوند. اخراج نمایندگان این دولت از سازمان بین المللی کار ILO اولین گام در این راستا است و این همان چیزی است که از سازمان بین المللی کار انتظار می رود.
