Iranian workers need your urgent support

On the eve of the May Day the international workers’ day we call upon all workers of the world to support us. Iranian Workers urgently need the support of workers and human rights organizations globally.
1-Since December 28 the Iranian people have engaged in extensive

protests against the Islamic despotic regime. These protests continued in full force in hundred cities and towns. From north to south and from east to west of the country people came to the streets to fight against a religious mafia kleptocracy. The protests started with slogans against poverty, everyday rising prices and unemployment. On the third day the slogans turned more political and thousands of demonstrators chanted “down with the Islamic regime” in different cities. Workers and majority of people are struggling for their basic rights and need your the most global support. A large number of people have been arrested since December 2016. All political prisoners and the detainees of the recent protests must be immediately released.

2- Esmail Abdi a teacher and a member of the executive board of Teachers Association of Tehran was arrested to serve a 6 years jail term on November 9, 2016.
