In the May Day in Tehran, the retirees and 5 labor organizations, held a magnificent with the participation of hundreds of workers, retirees, teachers and students in front of the parliament. In this day the security forces attacked them in a brutal way and some were arrested. 
The names of the detainees were: Hossein Azarghosseb, Mohsen Saghafi, Peyman Ahmadi, Mostafa Aghaei, Babak Kermanian and Tahmineh Khosravi who were released on may 2.
In Saqez, security forces attacked the ranks of workers who had gathered to commemorate the International May Day and after one hour of conflict with workers Osman Esmaili Was arrested and Mahmoud Salehi also wounded during this attack.
In Sanandaj, a number of construction workers celebrated the May Day with a placard and a flowering branch. and Yadi Samadi and Amir Shahbi two worker activists were arrested.
Osman Esmaili was released on bail on May8, 2018, But Yadi Samadi and Amir Shahbi are still on jail.
The Islamic regime of Iran continues its persecution of worker activists – from more arrests to harassment of those already in jail and their families.
Currently Mr Esmail Abdi, Mr Mokhtar Asadi and Mr Mahmoud Beheshti three teachers, and Mr Armin Sharifeh a worker activist that has been arrested on May 9, 2018 , Miss Atena Daemi, a well known children and women’s rights activist and an activist against the capital punishment and hundreds of other political activists are in prisons in Iran.
The Detainees of May 1st, jailed labor activists and teachers, and all political prisoners should be released unconditionally.
