Following the protests of the workers of the Ahwaz Steel National Group and several days of gatherings of these workers and the families of detained workers in front of the court and t governor’s office on the night of June 13th, the remaining detainees of the factory were released
to the names of Karim Sayahi, Mohammad Falahi, Sajjad Hosseinpour, Abdolrahman Saki, Javad Eskandari. Congratulations to them, to their families and to the workers of the National Steel Group of Ahwaz.
Protest of Ahwaz Steel National Workers ‘Workers’ strikes and rallies began on May 18th because of 3 months unpaid salaries and going under the threat of their occupation. Because of it was a widespread scale movement in the city, Police force attacked brutally against the gathering of the workers on June 11st . During this attack more than 50 workers were arrested. But the workers did not stopped and the next day, when they gathered with their families 10 more workers were arrested. Protest of workers and detained families continued. They gather every day in front of court and chanted free jail workers now, no threat , no prison, is useful.
