Workers’ organisations insisting on Islamic regime’ delegation out of ILO:
An important demand of workers and trade unions in Iran is the expulsion of the Islamic Republic from ILO. There is no workers organisation or trade union in Iran that opposes the expulsion of the Islamic regime from ILO. In fact, everyone of them supports this demand. Internationally, a number of big unions have so far supported this demand:
I-: The Free Union of Workers in Iran May 16, 2016 in a letter to Sharon Burrow the General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation proposes to dismiss “Iranian regimes’ representatives from ILO
II— 4 Iranian Independent Workers Organizations in a Message to 105th Session of the International Labor Conference , June 2016, insisted that the Iranian Regime to be expelled from ILO:

and students of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences
III– 12 labour organisations and soical groups wrote to ILO on September 22, 2020, declaring : Serious and practical political restrictions must be imposed on the Iranian government at the global level until the political, social, economic and cultural rights of the people are respected. Signed by:

IV-The Tehran and Suburbs Bus union (VAHED) wrote a letter to the Secretary General of the ILO, on Wednesday 31 May 2006 pointing to the fundamental violation of workers’ rights in Iran, emphasizing that the delegation sent by the Islamic Republic is not a representative of Iranian workers and a prominent member of the delegation, was one of the leaders in attacking the union of workers of Vahed Company
V– On May, 2017, four workers unions namely : Workers’ Union of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company (VAHED), Tehran Teachers’ Union, Haft Tappeh Sugar Cane Union, Alborz Painters Workers Syndicate, wrote in a statement addressed to ILO: “..The Islamic government recognizes only handmade organizations called the Islamic Labor Council, the Trade Union Association, and the Workers’ Representative. These government-affiliated institutions are by no means real trade unions, Naturally, people who are selected as “workers’ representatives” in such a context and with the support of the government, whether in negotiations with the government and employers or in international forums such as the International Labor Organization ILO , are not the real representatives of Iranian workers and should not be recognized as such.

– The International Confederation of Trade Unions (ITUC) in June 2016 issued a statement protesting the arrests in Iran and the presence of the Islamic Republic’s delegation to the International Labor Organization, announcing that Jafar Azimzadeh, Behnam Ebrahimzadeh and Mohammad Jarahi were the real representatives of the workers in Iran
