Many of these workers, argue that withholding these allowances despite having over 20 years of experience, is an clear injustice. Due to their 14/14 work schedule, they have been unable to pursue university education to obtain degrees.
Offshore Facilities Company employees gathered in front of the Oil Pension Fund to protest the non-payment of their wages, with no response from the authorities. Reports indicate that these workers have not received any salaries for over two months, Offshore Facilities Company, a major subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company, gained notoriety due to an embezzlement scandal involving a missing oil rig.

Workers of Hegmataneh Petrochemical protested over unpaid wages by welding shut the facility’s entrance and staging a sit-in inside the plant. Reports indicate that the company’s management is under the control of Nasser Shamkhani, a former commander of the IRGC, and its security chief is allegedly also the driver of the Friday Prayer Imam of Hamedan city. These workers have been demanding their overdue wages for a long time without success.

Offshore operational workers of the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) at Lavan Island gathered to demand their rights, stating they would continue their protests until their demands were met.
Contract workers in Parsian Lamerd Operational Area—including Tabnak, Varavi, Tafkik, Shatool, Haman, and Isar—went on strike to protest salary reductions, increased taxes, and unpaid wages. According to reports from the Oil Contract Workers’ Protest Organizing Council, workers stated that due to the rising dollar exchange rate and inflation since the beginning of the year, their salaries had effectively decreased by nearly four million tomans per month. These workers continued their strike for a second day in response to wage cuts, rising taxes, and unpaid wages.
