We Stand with the Call of the “National Committee for Organizing the Protest Rally” in Geneva**

by admin_shahla

The “National Committee for Organizing the Protest Rally in Geneva” has called for an action on Friday, June 6, 2025, in protest against the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the International Labour Organization (ILO) summit and in solidarity with the struggles of workers in Iran.

This protest rally will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at Place des Nations, in front of the ILO summit in Geneva, Switzerland.

The demands emphasized in this call include:

* Unconditional release of imprisoned workers and all political prisoners

* Immediate end to arrests, torture, and executions

* The right to organize, protest, and strike

* Job security, workplace safety, and wages in line with the cost of living

All defenders of workers’ rights and freedom-loving people are invited to join this protest.

The *Campaign to Free Jailed Workers in Iran (Free Them Now), as in previous years, stands in solidarity with this action and calls on all freedom-seeking people to join us in this protest.

Simultaneously, Free Them Now has organized meetings with labor and human rights bodies of the United Nations during this action. One of our key messages in these meetings will be the demand for the expulsion of the Islamic regime—this catastrophic, anti-worker, anti-human regime of gender apartheid—from the ILO and its isolation on the international stage.

The poster of call by the National Committee for Organizing the Protest Rally in Geneva is attached.
