Today, December 9th, civil and steel pensioners held their weekly protests in several cities, including Kermanshah, Ahvaz, Shush, and Isfahan. These gatherings occurred outside the Social Security offices in Kermanshah, Ahvaz, and Shush, and in front of the Pension Fund offices in Isfahan.
In Kermanshah, pensioners chanted slogans expressing their opposition to the government’s proposed budget, its warmongering policies, oppression, poverty, inflation, lack of social security, and widespread corruption. Some of the slogans included:

- “Government budgeting destroys the people’s lives!”
- “We want neither war nor violence, but sustainable welfare!”
- “Civil, military, and Social Security pensioners, unite!”
- “Telecommunication and steel pensioners, unite!”
- “Free imprisoned teachers, workers, and students!”
- “Pensioners! Awake! detest discrimination!”
In Shush, Social Security pensioners gathered as usual, drawing participants from nearby towns like Karkheh and Haft-Tappeh. Their gathering featured both speeches highlighting their demands and protest marches. They chanted:
- “Pensioners, speak up and shout out your rights!”
- “Horrifying inflation dominates the market!”
- “Inflation and high prices crush the people!”
- “Our rights will only be achieved on the streets!”
- “We won’t stop until our rights are secured!”
