To all labour unions and human rights organizations
Twenty organizations of teachers, workers, retirees, women’s rights activists, and students In Iran published a charter on 14th February, under the title of “Charter of Minimum Demands of Independent Unions and Civic Organizations in Iran” (attached below). This charter begins with the motto of “Woman, Life, Freedom”, and it is a manifesto for the current Iranian revolution.
It declares the beginning of a modern and humane revolution to free people from all forms of oppression, discrimination, exploitation, tyranny, and dictatorship.
In this charter, the urgent demands of the workers and ordinary people are emphasized.
FTN welcomes this charter which is the initiative of teachers, workers and activists inside Iran, and calls on all the global workers’ unions to support this charter and help it to be recognized internationally as it is, namely the voice of the Iranian people’s revolution against the Islamic regime.
