by admin_shahla

According to the report of the organizing council for the protests of contract oil workers, on September 25, a protest gathering of official oil workers working in oil platforms and employees of the Persian Gulf refinery was held. On this day, according to the previously announced call, official oil workers gathered in Hargansar, Resalat, Abu Dhar and Jazeera-e-Khark platforms to protest against the low level of their salaries. The complete removal of the salary cap and payment of wages according to the employment laws is their immediate demand.

Official oil workers had already given an ultimatum to strike in protest against the sudden increase in prices and the reduction of their salaries. On this day, the workers of one of the contractors of the first phase of Hoveyzeh Gas Refining Company also gathered in front of this company to receive their demands. Dismissed workers were working with a short-term three-month contract. In this protest, the workers blocked the entrance of the company and demanded to return to work.
