Ahvaz steel workers continue their massive strike. According to the news published by the independent voice of the workers of the National Steel Group, today, 14th February, the workers of all departments working in this complex of 3,000 workers in Ahvaz, went on strike.
With the strike of the all workers since yesterday, all the activities of this manufacturing complex have been stopped. The reason for this round of strike is the non-implementation of the demands of the workers and the existence of deficiencies and fundamental defects in some items of the job classification plan and the demand to equalize wages with similar and neighboring steel companies.
The workers have announced that they will continue to strike until their demands are met.
