by admin_shahla

Social security retirees gathered in front of governorates and social security offices in several cities including Ahvaz, Arak, Karaj, Shushtar, Sari, Andimeshk, Zanjan, Kerman, Dezful, Isfahan, and Shush following a previously announced call. The slogan of “Raisi the liar! Where is the results of your promises?” echoed in the streets of these cities. Raisi is the Islamic regime’s president.

In Ahvaz in southern Iran, a large number of retirees chanted slogans such as “Both the parliament and the government are lying to the people”, and “The government is betraying, the parliament backing it”, “The government be ashamed!  pay your debts to the fund”, and “is this your justice? Your hands are in people ‘s pockets”. It should be noted that the Islamic government owes millions of dollars to the pension fund.

The retirees shouted their anger and protest against the poverty and insecurity and the predatory acts of the ruling junta. In Shushtar, the demonstrators were chanted and demded the resignation of Raisi and his vice president Liaqat.

In Arak, the retirees protested against the oppression and slavery of the ruler by clapping and marching and singing the song “We won’t live under the burden of oppression, we sacrifice our lives in the path of freedom” In this city, retirees chanted: “Death to this government that deceives the people”.

The retirees are angry against the whole Islamic regime and want to get rid of it. With the force of their protests, they forced the minister of labour to resign.

A banner in the hands of the retirees emphasized the increase of salaries above the poverty line of eighteen million Toman (around $600 a month). On the other hand, retirees have repeatedly emphasized their demands such as free health services and free education and having the right to housing.
