Letter of thanks and appreciation, from. Behnam Ebrahimzadeh the worker and child activist .to all trade unions and labor and human rights organization.
I was finally released after eight years in imprisonments, And I was able to be beside my spouse and sick child .M y freedom was the result of a global campaign. I appreciate all the international trade unions, such as the Union BCGEU and Post and other trade unions in Canada, , SGT and other trade unions in France, shipping unions in Australia, and ITUC and all the workers’ organizations and my comrades in the labor movement in Iran and in the world who, without hesitation, defended my rights as a worker.
I want to say, I recognize this freedom as a result of a powerful global campaign, and I am proud and gratefull.
I spent nearly eight years in prison for protecting the rights of the worker, child and the rights of humans in the most difficult conditions. During my time in prison and under the most difficult conditions, I was always saying that imprisonment of people like me is unjust. I was always saying I am not an offender, but I am a libertarian and defender of human dignity.
I stand still and fighting for freedom and humanity. I have an immediate duty to defend prisoners’ rights and the people’s rightful struggles.
