Today, October 10, Bushehr Petrochemical workers in Asalouyeh went on strike and chanted slogans of death to the dictator. Two weeks ago, the protest organizing council of oil contract workers warned the government on behalf of these workers that if they do not stop the repression and don’t release the arrested, the oil workers will go on strike. Official oil workers also gave an ultimatum to the government regarding the strike.
For more than three weeks, there has been a nationwide uprising against the Islamic regime in dozens of cities and regions. People chanting slogans of death to the dictator and death to Khamenei in groups of thousands.. Students in more than a hundred universities are on strike and are protesting.
These protests started after the tragic death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old girl from Saqqez, who was arrested by the so called “moral patrol”, and after a few hours, she fell into a coma due to blows to her head and was taken to the hospital, where she unfortunately died.
The main motto of the people is “woman life freedom” , and “we all are ahsa”.
During these last three weeks , thousands of people have been arrested and about 200 people were killed by the armed forces of the Islamic regime. Oil worker’ strike can mark a turning point in this nationwide uprising for the people.
Free Them Now (FTN) wants the release of all the arrested and all the political prisoners and asks all the workers unions and human rights defenders to defend the uprising of the people in Iran against the despotic Islamic regime.
This regime must be boycotted worldwide and its agents and diplomats expelled from all countries.
