To the governments and the International organizations:

The Islamic regime should be boycotted worldwide                                          January 2, 2023

The mass uprising of the people of Iran, which appropriately identifies as “woman, life freedom revolution” to rid the people from the Islamic regime, continues. The people of Iran come to the streets every day and demonstrate, protest, chant slogans and fight with dedication, effort and sacrifice to overthrow this Islamic, barbaric, anti-woman, anti-human cruel tyranny.  

You are certainly aware that this regime has created a hell for people in Iran for 43 years. It plunders people’s livelihood, it has imposed hijab and forced religion on people, its mobs have been officially defined by Khamenei as “fire at will” that means they are allowed to shoot wherever they want and kill whoever they want. During these 100 days of uprising, they have killed around 600 protesters, and arrested tens of thousands of them. Prisoners are raped, tortured to death and forced to confess to the crimes they have not done. This regime even executes children. Their brutality is hard to describe or imagine.

All sections of the society, students, workers, teachers, retirees, pupils, artists, doctors and medical staff and different age groups are participating in this uprising. Women have an active and leading role.

This regime have charged some detainees of “Moharebeh”, which means war against the god and is the most serious crime in the judicial system of the Islamic regime, and has the most severe punishment, which is execution. On December 8 they executed one of the protesters named Mohsen Shekari, and 4 days later on December 12 hanged Majid reza Rahnavard both 23 years old, on these same charges. More protesters have been convicted to death sentences and are at risk of execution.

  One of these prisoners, whose death sentence has been confirmed and whose life is in great danger, is Abbas Deris, an electrical worker and father of 3 children, one of the detainees of the October 2019 uprising.

Free Them Now (FTN), strives and struggles for the release of all imprisoned workers, imprisoned teachers and all arrested and political prisoners and to stop executions. Free Them Now asks all governments and government institutions to listen to this revolution and support the people of Iran.

So far many governments and members of parliaments in different countries have condemned this brutal regime and have defended the people’s rights in Iran. But in a situation where people are trying to overthrow this government and are fighting life and death, condemnation is no longer enough.

Just as the Islamic regime was expelled from U.N. Women’s Rights Commission, on December 14, 2022, due to its blatantly criminal and anti-woman nature; it should be expelled from all international institutions, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the ILO, and other conventions and institutions too.

Free Them Now (FTN) asks you the governments’ authorities in the world to listen to the voice of the Iranian people. Stop negotiations with the Islamic Republic, stop the JCPOA, boycott the Islamic Republic completely and defend the expulsion of this government from ILO and  the Convention on the Rights of the Child. In Iranian people’s view, the global boycott of the Islamic Republic is a practical and effective step in overthrowing this government.
