-Protests of third pillar workers in most South Pars oil refineries

– Newly employed workers are also protesting

– Official oil workers have been protesting for several weeks

According to the news published by the Council for Organizing Protests of Oil Contract Workers, in addition to the gatherings of third-pillar workers working in the 6th, 10th and 12th refineries of South Pars, which we reported earlier, today, January 13, these workers gathered and protested in almost all the gas refineries of South Pars.

The main demand of the workers is to remove contractors from the workplace, increase wages and improve working conditions. Their immediate demands include the elimination of contractors, revision of the job classification scheme that can improve the level of wages, changing the employee rotation system for administrative support staff to 14 days of work and 14 days of rest, and organizing the status of drivers.

The protests of these workers, along with the continuous gatherings of the official oil workers, shows the turbulent atmosphere of the oil industry, this economic artery of the country.

According to the news published today, according to the previous call, the workers of “newly employed” oil protested against the decision of the vice president of oil human resources to remove or reduce one grade of their salaries. They gathered in front of block one of the headquarters building of the southern oil-rich regions in Ahvaz.
