According to the news published by the organizing council of oil contract workers’ protests, today, the October 30th, Abadan petrochemical workers gathered in front of the petrochemical entrance to protest against the astronomical salaries of the managers and the non-payment of the workers’ arrears, demanding the resignation of “Bachari”, the CEO of the complex. And they chanted against him.
Yesterday, Sunday, the 29th of October, the formal employees of the Falat Ghareh Oil Company working in Siri region protested against the government’s livelihood attacks and the failure to address their demands. The complete removal of the salary cap, which has reduced the workers’ income, the removal of the limitation of retirement payments years and the return of tax deductions, and the implementation of the urgent demands of these workers, are the workers’ demands.
As we reported, in this regard, the formal workers working in the Aghajari Oil and Gas Exploitation Company had a rally on 29th October. The formal oil workers have announced that they will continue their protests until their demands are met.
