According to the news published by the independent voice of the workers of Iran’s National Steel Group, this morning, Monday, 12th of February, the workers of the National Steel Industrial Group in Ahvaz protested by stopping the production lines of some sectors and gathering in front of the building of the Vice President of Social Affairs. This protest took place after the workers gave the management a few days to correct the defects in some items related to the implementation of the job classification plan and also the demand to equalize the wages received by the neighbouring steel companies. In this regard, on Saturday 10th February, the workers of different departments of this complex went on strike as a warning move.
Also on this day, the workers of Khazar Iron and Steel in Gilan protested against the closure of the factory and the delay in paying their wages. These workers continued their demands by gathering in front of Rasht city Governorate.
