On the 22nd of March, Nahid Khodajo, one of the well-known labor activists, was arrested by the Islamic regime’s security forces and transferred to the women’s ward of notorious Evin prison. Yesterday, she was staying at a friend’s house in Fardis Karaj, and she was arrested there at 12:30 p.m. following an attack by government repression forces and was taken to prison.
On May day of 2019 Nahid Khodajo was arrested in front of the Islamic parliament because of participation in a protest gathering there, and was consequently sentenced to five years in prison.
FTN strongly condemns the arrest and conviction of Nahid Khodajo and demands her immediate release.
